It's no longer news that the Student Union President of the Osun polytechnic Iree (OSPOLY), Comrade Raji Kehinde Ademola aka Kenraj was allegedly accused of collecting the sum of 2million naira from the State Government of Osun, Governor Gboyega Oyetola on the 31st of December 2019.

In the release which was signed by some anonymous 'Concerned students', Kenraj was also accused of betraying Nigeria students by 'colluding with the impostors who claimed to be the NANS ZONE D PRO from OAU' while sidelining the authentic elected NANS ZONE D PR Officer, Olatunji Ishola Nurudeen aka Solace in the visit.

According to the release, Kenraj in the said occasion recognized, accepted and presented someone from OAU as the PRO of the ZONE at the detriment of the mandate given to OSPOLY in Lagos on December 7th last year.

It reads, "Till date, KENRAJ neither gave the Union reason why he ditched his own institution, acted against the norm of Ospoly Constitution & threw away the mandate given to us in an election where he himself was the Senator that represented us, in the presence and company of Comrade SOLACE the Speaker of the SRC. All because of the #2 Million collected from the Government?.

"Of the Greatest Nigerian Students, this act of treachery and complete betrayal shall not go unchallenged!"

The Student Union President of the Osun State Polytechnic Iree(OSPOLY), Comrade Raji Kehinde Ademola aka Kenraj, has recently denied the allegations against him of supporting and recognizing the unofficial faction of NANS Zone 'D and collecting the sum of 2million naira from the Governor in their visit to the state house.

The president who made this known during a press conference centered on report of the Union achievements in office, proposed programmes before the tenure elapse and clearing the air on the rumour circulating the social media, held at the SU building, denied and regarded the allegations as a politics of calumny, blackmailing as tool put forward to defame his character which is allowed in politics.

According to him,  he was not informed of the meeting until 6 o'clock in the morning of that day when he received a phone call that they(all the NANS JCC presidents) are meeting the governor  that day.

He further clarified that it was around 12pm when he got to the state house,Abere that he met larger crowd which has the other faction of the NANS Zone D executives in the visitation, he was told that it was the NANS JCC presidents that are meeting the Governor.

He said, " I was totally surprised of seeing them because the information gotten to me before I left my place is that the NANS JCC Osun, we are meeting the governor, not the Zone.

"And on getting there, I cannot say  they are faction Zone D in the presence of the governor, because it was not only me that was there, it was all the students Union Presidents that were there.

"And if someone is parading themselves as a faction, it's not my business, my own business is the PRO from my institution(solace) is the geniue PRO and I was there nominating him as PRO  of the Zone and he was elected but seeing me with them doesn't mean I'm part of them."

Furthermore, he made it known that the State Governor only gave them five hundred thousand in support of the campaign for Alopay from Iragbiji and is running for the NANS President in the country, and he was only given five thousand naira by the NANS JCC Chairman as transport fare.

He further stressed that what he could decode from the meeting having the other faction around was because of Alopay campaign wanting to make it known to the Governor his capacity and in the course of the meeting, solace called to ask whether he was in the meeting and he said Yes.

He also said that solace said he has heard about the information about the visitation to the governor house since two days before the meeting from the PA to the governor because he had a cordial relationship him.

He said, " During that meeting, solace called me that he heard that we are meeting the governor today and he asked am I there and I said yes and he said he has heard about that meeting two days before because he has a cordial relationship the Governor's PA.

"But I was not informed until that day and he was informed and he didn't even call me to inform me about that information until during that meeting that he called me to ask whether I was in the meeting which I told him yes.

"He thought that I was recognizing his opponent, because that opponent is from the other faction of the NANS Zone D executives, and the NANS Zone D executives has two faction. We have the genuine faction and other faction.

"The genuine faction are the elected body which we are part of them and (had the election) which we were part of in YABA College of health  where we had the convention and solace emerged and the other faction pull out of the convention and they formed another parallel convention. That is what is causing a lot of havoc now in the political space and among many concerned students.

"I can tell you categorically that the other PRO of the faction is not relevant in the state. It is only solace that everybody recognize.

When asked if the other faction PRO was recognized in the meeting, he claimed that nobody introduces him as the PRO and that the only person that talked was their Coordinator who introduced himself only.


That's a Blatant lie" -Solace affirms


The NANS Zone D PRO, Olatunji Ishola Nurudeen aka solace, has accused Kenraj of lying  and aligning himself with the other faction to collect money from the governor using his office.

Solace in a chat with NEB accused kenraj of lying that he is not in the meeting with the governor when he called claiming to be in school.

"I was then wondering when I saw the pictorials evidence of the meeting when he was in the government house, I called him to know his movement, he said to me categorically that he is in school." he said.

He further claimed that the SUG president of federal polytechnic Ede declined the invitation which was extended to him because he doesn't want to betray him(Solace). "He said, he can't betray solace." he claimed.
