Ospoly Management speaks on forged examination date

Today, 4th of July, is supposed to be the beginning of 2nd Semester examination for Regular students and First Semester examination for part time student, however, yesterday, the polytechnic community got an unexpected memo that the school examination slated for Today had been postponed to 9th of July and backed with a memo.

But few hours later another memo surfaced online which stated that the exam would commence 6th of August instead of 9th of July and it was also backed with a memo.

However, after a close look at the two memos, it was discovered that one was doctored.

Well,  the school management have released a statement on the issue.

The attention of Management of Osun State Polytechnic Iree has been drawned to a forged circular authored fictitiously to confuse the  students and staff of the polytechnic and general public on the proposed examination slated to commence on Monday 9th July, 2018.
The polytechnic did not know about the August  dated exam.
It is a deliberate attempt to distabilise the system. It could now be seen clearly that the issue at stake is beyond the  *Peculiar* or any other requests made by ASUP but a conspiracy to destroy and destabilise the peaceful conduct of the Polytechnic, which has been in existence since inception of this welfarist administration.
The management hereby strongly warns those forging the official memo of the Institution to be careful as anybody caught of the illegal and heinous act would be arrested and prosecuted accordingly.
The Management also urged the entire polytechnic community to ignore the fake circular as we maintain that our *examination starts on Monday 9th July,  2018*
