Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard, confirmed as Rangers new boss
Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard, has been confirmed as Rangers new boss.
Gerrard had previously admitted that he had held talks over the vacancy but he finally shook hands on a four-year contract today May 4.
And he was presented to the media with former Liverpool teammate Gary McAllister set to join him as No.2.
Before his recent appointment, Gerrard had been working with Liverpool's academy in his first coaching position and has the blessing of first-team boss Jurgen Klopp to move north of the border.
Speaking in his presentation to the media, Gerrard said: “I am honoured to become the next manager of Rangers. I have enormous respect for this football club, and its history and tradition,"
