'The Lazy Nigerian Youths' by President Muhammad Buhari

If this was the title of a book, it will sell fast as a motivational book.

The Lazy Nigerian youths have been trending online and offline in the country after President Buhyari called out the Nigerian youths.

Pres Buhari tagged the youth as being lazy and that they rely on the government to do everything.

This statement which was made on Wednesday, 18th of April, 2018 in London has been received with mixed reactions from Nigerians.

Some were of the opinion that Nigerian youths are indeed lazy while others stated otherwise.

The Question however remains, are Nigerian youth lazy?

Looking at it, the answers depends on individual perspective.

Truly, We have hardworking and lazy Nigerian youths, it was generalized.

But the actual reason for this post is not to talk about if youths are lazy or not.

Most Nigerian youths have taken to the social media to react but what are we actually supposed to do?

This statement like I wrote, should it be a title of a book would sell fast as a motivational book.

Because, it is a wake up call to everyone.

Even if you are not part of the lazy Nigerian youth,  this is a period to correct that statement and prove to not just Nigeria but the world at large that we are not lazy.

That despite the situation of the country we can maintain our sanity which many youth in others countries whose economy are more better cannot achieve.

Irrespective of the limited Job factor, we have been able to keep body and soul together.

It is time to prove that the statement can't dampen our spirit but will serve as a challenge to be much more better.

Nigerian youth are not lazy.
