Living with Criticism 2

May I share with us the concluding part of the series with us now...

2. The Bad

Many a times, we get criticized by a lot of people for what we are doing especially if they know we are on a journey towards success. I shared with us in the previous series how people like Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, Nelson Mandela, Obafemi Awolowo, Tiger woods, David Oyedepo, among others were criticized. May I also tell you that even Jesus Christ was criticized.

Most times, when we are criticized on our way to the top, we tend to retaliate, feel sad and get bitter but we really have to understand that getting criticized means that we draw attention and people are really noticing and watching our moves. What should  we do then? Well, I'll say we should just leave them and focus on what we are keen on doing. Critics do not see the big picture neither do they know the vision and since they don't, you have nothing to worry about. Keep doing what is right and focus on your projects. Avoid getting depressed or weary.

I've gotten to know that it is only those people who are below us that keep ranting all around and keep criticizing us. See, like I said, they are below us and therefore they also want us to be like them. We cannot afford to stoop low to bad mouths. As it is said in my country, bad belle is allowed. Bad Belle is allowed because it'll only make us stronger. Michelle Obama was quoted to say "when they go down, we go up" When your critics are going down with their criticisms, start going up and don't look at their side. They do not see the big picture. The future is yours to live you only need to live it right.

Afterthought
Not minding what others are saying for bad against you, ride on and accomplish your dreams!!!
