So,it is advisable to be mindful of what ever you post because even if it is deleted its still glue online.
A site like Google retains everything you share, to 'Google Searching', it all remains even if you clear the history.
So how can we use the social media to our betterment.
1. Update your profile to look professional: most latest companies of Today go through your social media to survey the real you! So why not add your latest experience and skills and let your profile stay updated.
2. Promote yourself: if you are an entrepreneur this is a medium to promote your services to get across diverse of customers and build your business base.
3. Improve your knowledge: Social media is not about chatting all day long, you can use it to stay updated with latest happenings around the world. A micro blog like Twitter is good in this area as the Trending link will make you know what is happening.
4. You can work online: when many people hear internet job, they think of Scams ,Yahoo plus and the likes but let me tell you there are legal jobs you can do like content writing, graphics designing, social media management, SEO writer etc and make cool money and amazingly they are in Nigeria..
