Ospolybuzz News Outfit has gathered it that the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, Osun State Polytechnic Chapter has suspended the ongoing strike. The development however was brought about by the directive from the Government of the State of Osun. In lieu of this, the striking union has suspended the ongoing strike today, 2nd November, 2017.
It will be recalled that the Union went on strike on 18th October, 2017 due to issues regarding their entitlements. The Union however, has joined the Nonacademic Staff Union to suspend the ongoing strike and are ready to begin academic activities on Monday, 6th November, 2017.
Ospolybuzz News Outfit urges students to resume to school as soon as possible as work will start with immediate effect.
