7 Skills Every Student Must Master before Graduation

Being a student is a wonderful thing and the school is a training pitch as it helps one to understand quite a number of things. Today, it is quite unfortunate that most students fail to take advantage of the training ground and when the real life begins, they fail utterly.

As a student who is planning to experiencing goodness after school, there's a need to master/learn certain skills begore graduation.  Below are some skills that you need to master before you graduate from school...

1. Sell

You'll ask, am I in Purchasing and Supply department? Well, you might not be in that department but at a point in your life, you'll have to sell, not just products but ideas and vision. You'll have prospects whom you'll convince to buy into a project of yours. It is therfore imperative to master the art of selling before you leave school!

2. Save

Majority of us are guilty of this. As students, we say "how much is even my income that I'll still save when I'll buy course materials and others"... Well, as said, you're on a training ground. It is what you learn now that you'll put to use after school. Save a certain percentage of any of your income. It doesn't have to be so much, just save a little portion of your income. Itll help you when you start the real match!

3. Skill

Skill? When I'll be working in an office? Yes!!! Skill is very essential and you must learn a skill or two before you graduate.  Learn how to drive or how to operate a computer. Skill will add to your value while you're in the real match. I've seen organizations who hire employees mainly because of a skill. Do not wait until you graduate before you enroll yourself in training classes. The time is now!

4. Speak

Students sometimes think they have less to do with speaking not knowing it is an important skill they need to master. While in the corporate world, a call can be placed on you to anchor a presentation or preside a meeting. You may need to present a case to convince project investors and interested personnel. Once you joke with speaking while you are a student now, it will be hard when you are a graduate.  Learn how to speak! Yes, Master the art of Public Speaking!!!

5. Start

It is undoubtedly true that some students have some ideas that can pave ways for them but they really don't know how to start and once they don't know how to start, opportunities slip out of their hands. You can't be like rhat. Learn how to start up. You can't wait till you get everything right. Learn now!

6. Serve

We are in a generation where everyone wants to be a leader and not a servant.  This however,  has made a lot of people miss out on opportunities. It is very pertinent for you to know how to serve now. It isn't everytime you should crave to be a frontman, learn to folllow and master service skills because they'll help your future in times to come.

7. Set Goals

The time to understand goal setting strategies is now! Never wait till after school till you learn this else you're going to fail in actualization of dreams. Master how to set goals. Start now by setting goals for your next examination, set goals to score your desired marks and you'll be suprised how setting goals can improve your productivity.
